Attended the Medical Field Service School (MFSS) at Fort Sam Houston
Studied hematology, urinalysis, parasitology, and blood chemistry.
Worked in the laboratory at Brooke Army Medical Center doing hematology work including
phlebotomies, staining blood slides, microscopic examination of slides for complete blood counts (CBC)
and blood morphology, and also routine urinalysis.
