The Raaga Restaurant offers northern Indian cuisine at 5872 Leesburg Pike in Falls Church, VA 22041. The restaurant is open every day for lunch and dinner. A buffet is available on the weekends.

The interior of the restaurant has a white ceiling and pastel yellow walls decorated with high-relief paintings and panels of mahogany carved with Indian motifs. The tables are covered with white tablecloths.
The vestibule of the Raaga restaurant has a small statue of Ganesha, the elephant god of India, holding a sitar. The restaurant offers a wide selection of national and northern Indian dishes. During my visit to Raaga, the waiters were attentive and everything that we ordered was delicious.
The samosa appetizers are vegetable turnovers stuffed with potatoes and green peas seasoned with cumin seeds and spices. The platter is served with cilantro and tamarind chutneys and garnished with a small salad.
The mixed grill platter has jumbo shrimp, boti kebab and chicken tikka. The boti kebab consists of lamb chunks marinated overnight in yogurt, ginger and Indian spices. The chicken tikka is made by marinating chicken in yogurt, lemon juice and garam masala. The platter includes a serving of dahl and lettuce garnish.
Several types of Indian bread are available on the menu. The garlic naan is freshly baked and stuffed with garlic. The pappadam is a thin, crisp Indian bread often described as a cracker. It is accompanied with a green cilantro chutney and a brown sweet tamarind chutney.
The lamb curry has chunks of boneless lamb cooked in a sauce with a base of tomatoes and onions. The curries are served with a side dish of steamed rice garnished with sweet peas.
