Magganio's Little Italy Restaurant in Washington, D.C.

Maggiano's Little Italy is an Italian-style chain of casual dining restaurants with locations throughout the United States, Mexico, and Canada. This particular one, is at 5333 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC, 20015-2050. The location is on the border between Maryland and the District of Columbia, next to Chevy Chase Pavilion and across from Mazza Gallerie by the Friendship Heights metro station.

The restaurant occupies two floors. The main dining room is downstairs and has many tables in the center area and booths along the walls. Background music features Frank Sinatra and other members of the Rat Pack that bring back memories of the 1960's. Many black-and-white photographs of famous people are displayed on the walls. The upper floor has several dining rooms that are used for private parties.

A basket with warm bread is brought to your table while your food is prepared. Some of the Italian-American specialties include: Veal Parmesan with melted provolone and marinara sauce, Linguini and clams with red sauce, Maggiano's salad with lettuce, red onions, blue cheese, prosciutto, and house dressing. Calamari Fritté with marinara sauce. Mushrooms stuffed with Fontina cheese, bread crumbs, basil, oregano, and other spices.

Maggiano's hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 11:30 AM to 10 PM, Friday and Saturday from 11:30 AM to 11:00 PM, and Sunday from Noon to 10 PM., reservations may be made by phone at 202-966-5500.
